Junko wrote that the minute you draw a vertical and horizontal line on the surface of the work, a certain tension arises. These works searched for a resolution of that tension. All the works in the series are approximately 12 inches high x 9 1/8 inches wide. They are all mixed media on paper, and were all created in 1987.
